Teacher of Music

This west London based High school seeks a teacher of music to commence September. This school has undergone a remarkable turnaround under the guidance of the current Headteacher and his very able SLT. This is re-inforced by the findings of the November 2008 inspection report:

'Since his appointment, the principal has worked hard to bring much needed stability to staffing and improvements in teaching. This has involved robustly tackling weaknesses. The benefits of taking difficult decisions are now having a positive impact on the school's performance. A significant change for the better since the last inspection is the way in which the school runs smoothly. There have been radical improvements in students' behaviour and their self-esteem, so that these are now good. They wear their uniforms with pride and act as very effective ambassadors for the school with parents and the local community'.

The performing arts play a large part in the life of the school.and is home to a recording studio and new theatre. The school also has an on-site leisure centree which is FREE for all staff.
