A Hearing Impaired Teacher is required for a longer term role based in Barnet. You must have your QTS, and hold the BSL Level 2 qualification or above.

The school's hearing impairment team is well regarded, supportive and very proactive. It provides support to hearing impaired children from 0-11 years.

The pupils have varying degrees of hearing loss including some with profound loss. Most of the children will be following an auditory oral approach, though total communication is used in this special school.
