An experienced Teaching Laboratory Technician is required in our inclusive and friendly secondary school.

The main tasks of this member of staff involve supporting the work of our experienced science teachers and the students to ensure that they: are making efficient use of their time; using equipment safely and correctly and accurately recording the results of their work.

Aside from this student involvement, you will also be expected to provide technical support; ensuring that equipment is functioning properly and ready to use and that the correct materials/equipment is available to for practical work.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
- You must have good spoken English;
- You must have a minimum of 6 months school related experience;
- Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
