Long term contract

A primary school based in the Lambeth borough that serves a culturally diverse area where about 40 different languages are spoken; are seeing to appoint an EMAG / Primary teacher.

The successful candidate must have experience teaching Early Years to Key Stage 1. Phonics and EMAG knowledge will be very advantageous. This is a long term role starting ASAP and is ongoing till July 2010.

Many pupils arrive in the nursery with very limited language, communication and social skills. The school provides a good quality of education for its pupils and overcomes many of the great challenges it faces. Communication is very good and the leadership team have established a high commitment from their staff. All staff want to learn and improve in order to do better by their pupils and the school is well-placed to achieve this.

• To be successful you must hold a Teaching Qualification
• You must have a current police clearance.
• You should display a proven track record of pupil learning outcomes.
