Systems Developer

A global strategic and corporate advisor, specialising in assisting corporate entities enhance value seek a systems developer. The candidate will be required to provide high quality advice and comprehensive assistance to corporate entities on business strategy, acquisitions, divestment and capital raisings. Their role will revolve around managing and developing the capabilities of the client’s information systems.

The candidate’s responsibilities include:
• Supporting the existing in-house Research System, Portfolio Management System and corporate website.
• Developing extensions to the research system and Portfolio Management System to enhance their capabilities.
• Developing the capabilities of the companies website
• Managing and supporting the general IT needs of the office.

Candidates are required to possess:
• An academic record that includes computer science, mathematics or another quantitative discipline.
• Experience in computer programming, modelling and systems development.
• Proficiency in any two of SQL, C/C++/C# and VB/VBA.

It is also helpful if a candidate has a familiarity with financial markets and financial instruments; although this is not essential.
