Long term contract – Starting ASAP

An improving school is currently seeking a long term Reception Teacher to start in Easter The position will be a full time post until the end of the school year.

The school has an admission level of 87, with provision for up to 78 part time children in the nursery. The present role is around 600. Until recently, the school had very few children from ethnic minorities; however, since 1999 the school has admitted a proportion of children from Kosova, who are supported by the Language Support Service.

The school is fortunate enough to have additional accommodation for an ICT suite, library, resources rooms and SEN base. The school has been subject to a major programme of refurbishment over the last three years. The most recent capital works have provided a new kitchen in KS1, school offices, exterior decoration and new roof.

• To be successful you must hold a Teaching Qualification
• You must have a current police clearance.
• You should display a proven track record of pupil learning outcomes.
