I need a Personal Care Assistant (PA) to help me live an independently in my own flat and enable me to make lifestyle choices and make the most of my social, work and family life. Since I left university I have worked in banking and lecturing but since my accident (on a trampoline of all things!) I have been able to set up my own business. This gives me the flexibility to work from home but I also have an office in the nearby town. Since my spinal injury I need help with everyday things that I once took for granted, like driving, dressing, cooking, washing and bathing myself, shopping and getting out and about at the weekends and in the evening meeting family and friends and going to work. I have had PAs from all over the world and from all different backgrounds...from secretaries and sales reps to hotel managers and holiday reps in Ibiza....all have been sensational, patient, great fun and conscientious.
