Practice Manager

We have an exciting new position available for a Practice Manager to join Adults with Learning Disabilities Team in the North London area.

Responsibilities:
1. To undertake assessments of need for service users to develop and monitor appropriate care packages
2. To offer a casework service, including providing support and counselling to clients, families and carers to ensure an effective response to all referrals
3. To investigate cases of alleged neglect, abuse and ill treatment of service users, including Section 117 monitoring and to make enquiries for appropriate recommendations
4. To supervise and ensure the regular review of all allocated service users
5. To represent the Council in Court in respect of proceedings concerning clients and to prepare and present reports in this connection
6. To investigate, with others, the circumstances and undertake assessment duties under the 1983 Mental Health Act
7. To maintain contact with people vulnerable through age, disability or infirmity whose circumstances call for ongoing social work support
8. To make appropriate reports, maintain records and conduct correspondence in connection with the foregoing activities

Pay rate is up to £30 per hour.

GSCC Registration is essential.
