European Director of Professional Services

Global Organisation who provides solutions to the banking, treasury and capital markets industry require a European Director of Professional Services to run an area of 180people via 7 direct reports.
For this role you will have the following experience
- Degree educated
- Experience of running a service business with multiple products/solutions
- Used to running a P&L of approx £45M+
- Experience of forecasting, financial services, fixing poor projects, sales and relationships with sales to develop opportunities
- Strong commercial awareness is essential
- Contacts within partners / alliances is highly desirable
- Experience of the Banking industry is desirable, but not essential

The position will entail working within a major part of the business, which generates (from software license and service solutions) around 50% of the global revenue of the company. This will be a highly client facing position and you will be tasked with strategically improving the service making use of the limitations. You will be running a team of 180 via 7 – 8 direct reports with increasing focus on partners and alliances. Future strategies include new products to market as well as partners and other solutions.
You will also be looking at assisting sales close deals and helping turn projects around if required.

The position has come around because of promotion and presents a senior level opportunity to take over a strong European Professional services team and assist with the growth of this area.

Package includes: c£140k base, bonus, £7,800 car allowance and benefits
Travel – will be around Europe, 2-3 trips a month for 1-3days each
