A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Applications / Environment Support Manager to join a major banking and finance client based in central Birmingham.

You will manage a team providing support to the non production environments and ensure the availability of services and platforms including for example the testing environment. Maintaining Service Levels whilst improving processes and procedures is essential as is identifying efficiencies via toolsets and automation. You should also have exposure to supporting major application platforms including troubleshooting and issue tracking. Experience of ITIL in particular Release and Deployment Management is desirable. Exposure to having managed major support and application support environments is highly desirable for this role.
