An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager for a minimum 12 month contract to cover maternity leave for our client based in Buckinghamshire.

The main responsibilities of the role will be:
> To assume all responsibilities for the Payroll Department in order to provide an effective area of expertise to senior/operational management, colleagues and employees.
> To ensure the Payroll Department fulfils its obligations to the Company, its employees and any relevant external bodies whilst maintaining compliance with all statutory and contractual legislation.
> To develop and implement all necessary systems, practices and procedures to enable the continued timely and accurate payment of salaries and to guarantee full accountability.
> To supervise the work of Payroll staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and are able to carry out the duties effectively.

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year's experience operating at Payroll Manager level or 3 years at Senior Payroll Administrator level. We are looking for candidates who are customer focussed and strive to deliver high standards consistently. Experience of ADP Freedom would be advantageous although not essential.
