Main Role and Responsibilities of the Rent Income Officer include:
• Taking appropriate action to maximise rental income
• Agreeing repayment schedules to bring rental accounts back up to date
• Liaising with Housing Benefits teams
• Serving notices
• Collecting rent
• Rent Allocation

Skills required of the Financial Accountant include:
• Previous arrears recovery experience within the housing sector is essential
• Knowledge of local authority procedure
