Financial Modeller

My NHS client is currently looking for someone to provide Long Term Financial Modelling (LTFM) Support to assist the Asst Director of Finance, in the production of the Trust's Long Term Financial Model (LTFM) in support of the Trust's application for Foundation Trust Status.

Main Role and Responsibilities of the Financial Modeller include:
• To collate and prepare inputs for the population of the LTFM
• To collate and prepare inputs for the population of the LTFM
• To liaise with Senior Finance to obtain the inputs necessary for populating the LTFM
• To populate the LTFM and reconcile the outputs
• To collate supporting working papers
• To run reports on the LTFM and analyse and explain financial performance
• To liaise with "due diligence" accountants and assist Senior Finance staff in fielding information requests.

Skills required of the Financial Modeller include:
• Having in depth knowledge and understanding of NHS Finance and analysis work
• Be a qualified CCAB accountant or an international equivalent.
• Encouraging sharing of ideas in planning, objective setting and working methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
