Qualified Social Worker

We are currently seeking a qualified Social Worker for Data, research and Information sector within the Drugs Team in the South East London Area

Duties and Responsibilities;

1. To develop and manage a system for collecting, analysing and disseminating information and data from service providers which enables accurate reporting on progress and performance to Government Offices and National Treatment Agency (NTA).

2. To conduct regular audits across the substance misuse treatment system to gather information and analysis to clarify the robustness of data in the borough.

3. To liaise with service providers, DAT Manager, Commissioning manager, Government Offices & NTA around development and maintenance of local data systems in line with national reporting requirements.

4. To offer updates, technical and statistical support to service providers in relation to requirements and methods of gathering information and data.

5. To produce timely information and statistical reports for the DAT and DAT Sub Groups on needs/trends emerging and progress and performance against plans as requested.

6. To participate in and advise on research and evaluation of projects that have a direct bearing on the work of the DAT

7. Assist in carrying out needs assessments to identify gaps in provision/services.

8. To identify and actively manage current changes required in data reporting.

9. Keep up to date with legislative changes in relation to data sharing and protection relevant to the drug/alcohol policy area.

10. Work alongside DAT colleagues to produce leaflets, advertising and newsletters.

Pay rate from £18 - £22 per hour

GSCC Registration is essential.
