SQL DBA

An Investment Bank based in London is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to join their team. The role will be to provide MSSQL project and BAU database administration support to the Infrastructure and development communities and ensuring their performance, availability and security.

The Candidate will have extensive SQL Server RDBMS skills which will include installation, management and production support of SQL Server 7 to 2005, 2008.
Proven background in similar large scale investment bank environments.
The individual will in addition have Transactional SQL, stored procedures, GUI interfaces experience, clustering, knowledge of SAN Storage, Virtualisation and consolidation. Extensive knowledge of pier to pier and bi-directional Replication, DTS, Reporting Services and SSIS.
