Management accountant

Robert Walters’s client, an exciting well known teaching hospital is looking for a management accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities of the management accountant include:
• Provision of accurate, relevant and timely financial management information to management and budget holders, including month end financial position, forecasts and budgets.
• Provision of help to interpret financial information to ensure budget holders can manage their budgets effectively.
• Contribution to year end processes so that the agency can meet its external statutory reporting requirements.
• Provision of budget holder training.
• Contribution to ongoing process improvement within finance to improve efficiency through the sharing and development of new ideas.
• Accruals
• Prepayments
• Budgeting
• Forecasting

Skills required of the management accountant include:
• A CCAB recognised qualification.
• Strong excel skills – v look ups – pivot tables
• Ideal candidate would have Agresso experience
• Must have personable and flexible approach to work load
