Role Description

Operation Team Leader - Milton Keynes

About the Operation Team Leader Role:

As a Night Operations Team Leader you will join the management team in the Milton Keynes warehouse to ensure the night operation accomplish accurate packing in order to ensure deliveries are on time and within agreed budgets.

The role holder will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and secure picking of all newspaper and magazines

  • Supervising team members and providing mentoring and coaching

  • Working closely with the management team to ensure all staff budgets achieved.

  • Responsible for the setup of the magazine pack to ensure the optimum productivity and accuracy

  • Maintain a high level of Health and Safety at all times.

About You:

A track record in warehouse management would be desirable, however management experience in other sectors would be considered.

You'll be able to evidence:

  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment

  • Managing a large operation and being able to liaise at all levels

  • Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with all team members and management

  • The ability to solve problems using own initiative

Although not essential, experience of working in Newspaper and Magazine distribution would be advantageous.
