Our client is hiring exceptional Senior Pre-Sales/Senior Solution Engineers (SSE) to be part of our Northeast Sales Team. The Senior Solution Engineer is a full partner on the Sales Team. This company collects, correlates and analyses machine, system and user data in Real Time to offer unprecedented capabilities of security intelligence, Business and IT monitoring, operation and applications management and compliance.
-The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer/Senior Solution Engineer is responsible for professionally presenting and demonstrating the most technical aspects of company's software, understanding and defining customer requirements and proposing the best solution for a client's needs. The Senior Solution Engineer acts as the voice of the customer and the technical conscious in all sales engagements. This is an individual contributor role with the potential for promotion to Technical Management, Product Management or Product Marketing within the next 18 months.
-You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, by working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services.
-The SSE will present and demonstrate at a deep technical level the architecture, performance and functionality of the company SAAS Platform.
-Through discussions with the customer, the SSE will understand, define and document customer requirements
-The SSE will qualify sale opportunities based on the technical fit between a customer's requirements and the standard capabilities of the company Platform.
-The SSE will design and manage Proof of Concepts (POC) in conjunction with the company's Professional Services Team.
-The SSE will own the technical relationship with the customer and lead all technical efforts to ensure each customer is a reference account.
-The SSE will develop and present technical proposals as required to win sales engagements.
-Provide regular and meaningful insights to Senior Management and Marketing on market trends, product requirements and competition.
-Be a good team mate. Support your peers in developing a culture that likes to win, have fun and values mutual success.
-Demonstrate a track record of success in securing sales from enterprise accounts or Service Providers.
-5 - 10 years of experience selling, implementing or supporting Enterprise software or Solutions to the Enterprise or Service Providers
-Strong Pre-Sales-Presales experience
-Strong hands on technical experience with Log Management and Analytics, SEIM, Security and Compliance Solutions, Application Management, Business Intelligence or IT Operations.
-Solid experience in the Bigdata-Big Data/Analytics space
-Ability to present and communicate with all levels of the customer - Technical, Financial Executive.
-Experience with networking, service, application and web technologies.
-Some database query language (SQL), report development desired.
-Some UNIX based Scripting languages desired (Python).
-Familiarity with Regex, Cloudera or Hadoop a plus.
-Some Project Management experience or experience implementing technical projects is a plus
-Superior technical writing skills is a plus
-A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing start-up environment.
-Able to balances great ambition and drive with a high level integrity and honesty
-Fun to be around!
-Plusses include Open Source/Hadoop techies and experience with the following companies in their background: HP ARCsight, Splunk, Sumologic, Log Rhythm, Log Entries/Rapid 7, Loggly, IBM QRadar, Teradata, SAS, Palantir, IBM QRadar, Tableau, Alteryx, Pentaho, etc.
A team player attitude with excellent English verbal and written English communication skills not requiring repeating during rapid English conversation.

This career opportunity is based in New York, NY or Boston Massachusetts. This opportunity offers a generous competitive starting base salary from $125,000 - $175,000.00 per year based on experience plus to 30% bonus and great benefits. Your asking compensation will be submitted after your approval. No relocation is offered.
